Photograph of Irishman Stream headwall and uppermost valley with MK and the 13,000 year old moraine in the foreground. We sampled boulders to date when the glacier began to retreat from this outer position. Turns out, the glacier shows a similar response to climate change found in Antarctica around 13,000 years ago! Amazing!
