Where we come from

Perhaps my interest in history started too late (I always did poorly in my history classes in school), and perhaps geology helped me appreciate all that we can learn from the past.  I was looking at a job opportunity when I came across this video,

This is John Nye, a glacier physicist, of the Nye-Glen Isotropic Law, kind of a big deal. Amazing to hear him talk about the evolution of ideas of how glaciers flow.
