Seasonal colors

Autumn approaches.   It has been 4 years since I last felt the changes of the passing seasons and I welcome the sights, smells, and chills of fall with open arms.  This photograph is a view of Maine’s fall foliage from Stone Tower in Sebago, Maine, with Sebago Lake toward the right.  Sebago Lake is the deepest lake in Maine (266 feet deep), in part due to glacial deposits damming the previous outlet.  Read about it on the Maine Geologic Survey website:

Why is Sebago Lake so deep?
